Meliá mantiene abiertos 42 hoteles y Barceló 12

Preferente




Meliá mantiene abiertos 42 hoteles en todo el mundo, el 13% de los 326 que tiene en cartera, mientras Barceló Hotel Group aún conserva operando hasta el viernes 21 hoteles, de un total de 255. Iberostar, de su lado, solo mantiene un hotel abierto, en Cuba, del total de 120 que explota, mientras Riu solo mantiene dos abiertos, en México, pero que cerrará en unos días, de un total de 99.

Meliá sigue con la actividad en 13 hoteles en Portugal, seis en Indonesia, cinco en Vietnam, tres en Tanzania, dos en España y uno en Alemania, Luxemburgo, Austria, Cabo Verde, Venezuela, Argentina, Perú, Emiratos Árabes, Myanmar y Tailandia. Asimismo, en China tiene en estos momentos tres establecimientos en funcionamiento y prevé reabrir este mismo mes otros dos, según El Economista.

Barceló, por su parte, mantenía abiertos seis hoteles están en México, dos en Dubai (EAU), dos en República Dominicana, y uno en Marruecos, Egipto, Túnez, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Cuba, Guatemala y El Salvador. En España ha medicalizado el Occidental Aranjuez, en Madrid.

NH, por su parte, que cuenta con 368 hoteles en Europa y América, tiene cerrados el 90% de sus hoteles en España (opera 102) e Italia (52), mientras, en el norte de Europa el cierre ya alcanza el 50%, aunque la tendencia, al igual que en América, es creciente.
